Sending and Receiving Email

To send and receive your email from your new email accounts, you will need to set up these accounts on the email software installed on your PC.

If you have additional email accounts supplied to you via other Internet Service Providers then your email software will need be able to handle multiple accounts. Software such as Outlook Express (free with Internet Explorer) or Eudora Pro are excellent choices for this.

If you do not what to change your email software to handle more than one account or are subscribers to AOL, your SiteOne email will need to be "forwarded" to your existing account.

The email server details are:-

Incoming email (POP3 Server) mail.yourdomainname*
Outgoing email (SMTP Server)
smtp.yourISP**
User Name youremail@yourdomainname
Password the password you set up for the email address

*Remember that yourdomainname represents the domain name SiteOne has registered or transferred for you.

** To send email you will need to use your ISP's SMTP server address, i.e.
smtp.freeserve.net.

You can find these details in the properties of your ISP account (in Outlook Express click Tools> Accounts> then the Mail tab and then the ISP account then properties).

To help you further please use our step-by-step tutotial to set up new accounts on your email software.

Please remember that for your email accounts to work you will need to set the up on your hosting account via your Personal Control Panel or contact SiteOne if you are a web design client.
